Founded on the 12th February 2018, Shoptimised became one of a handful to offer a SaaS platform for the end user. It’s fair to say, the software’s original look wasn’t exactly ‘pretty’.
We were the 4th UK CSS Partner to be authorised. At the time, the CSS market was brand new, but booming. Other partners were charging large fees or a percentage of the saving.
Early on in our journey, we were thrilled to be awarded Best SaaS Platform at the International Performance Marketing Awards.
We launched a very unique Price Checker, designed to compare products GTINs against competitors within Google Shopping. You could then create business logic rules using pricing information, applying Custom Labels to build your own Google Shopping strategy.
We were delighted to pick up another award. This time for SaaS Company of the Year at the UK Business Tech Awards.
We were determined not to miss the UK Search Awards. We were up against some very established companies such as Adzooma, Ruler Analytics, Marin, SEM Rush, Kenshoo and ProductsUp (to name a few). We were extremely thrilled to win Best Software Innovation on the night.
We did mention the first interface wasn't very ‘pretty’ so we launched a brand new interface with new rules and conditions to establish Shoptimised as an effective Product Feed Optimisation software.
We Beta tested Incremental Sales for 8 months prior to launch. This service solved various issues with Google Shopping and has been featured on Google in addition to delivering amazing growth for users.
Lockdown didn’t happen for another 5 weeks, but we decided to close our office early and send the team to work from home. We invested in new telephone software, purchased new laptops and other essentials to work. We also created a more flexible working structure to ensure families could be prioritised. Our trust in our people has been more than rewarding ever since.
We were proud to win the Best Global Innovation award at the Global Biddable Awards for our Incremental Sales Software.
When the number of advertisers working with our CSS kept growing, we were promoted to Google CSS Premium Partner. We are now 1 of the 7 exclusive UK Premium CSS Partners and the only one offering free CSS service.
With the hope to return to the office in the summer 2021, we acquired a new space and began renovation work, ready to welcome our now bigger team. We’re ready to make it a vibrant, collaborative and covid-secure workplace.
